Leading through changing times

As we look back at the many changes affecting business at Norman Jones Enlow and Co. over the past 55 years, it’s hard to imagine any one period of time that has had so much turbulence as these times. Over the past couple years –and certainly for the next few years, we at NJE and our clients will experience many changes.

Like other businesses, NJE feels the effects of our current economy. And although we are excited about our country’s new administration and potential opportunities for our clients, we anticipate several new challenges and are preparing for tax law changes that surely will come.

Also, like many other maturing, privately held organizations, NJE realized the importance of succession planning to ensure the future of the firm. We have made major internal changes shifting ownership and management of the firm to its employees through an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) and a Leadership Development Program. This includes mentoring, coaching, job rotation and education of younger officers who will run the firm long after the current leadership is gone.

Along those lines, we are actively in pursuit of experienced executive talent to serve you. Our updated website has a section dedicated to the recruitment of new talent to fill the ranks as our legacy continues.

We’re continuing to evolve with the times and are using technology and tools to improve communications with our clients and associates. We’ve updated our logo for a fresher look. We’ve updated our website. We’ve settled nicely into our new Columbus office and our Zanesville office has been updated, as well. If you’ve not been in either office, we welcome you for a tour.

At NJE, we continue to do what we always have: provide quality work, serve clients well, do what we say we are going to do, and be up front with our clients.
